Festive Rent Day – Sunday 8th December

It’s that time of year again – time for Members to pay their rent.  This year Members will also need to sign a new tenancy agreement and terms and terms and conditions as agreed at our Autumn General Meeting on 2 November.

There will also be free festive food for Members to enjoy, allotment produce to buy and Christmas craft activities for all the family.

We hope to see our Members on Sunday 8 December between 12noon – 3pm.

Bonfire night party – Saturday 2nd November

On Saturday 2 November we will be having our annual Bonfire party for members and their families.

There will be hot food, a bonfire, fireworks, as well as toasting marshmallows and making s’mores.  Children will be able to make lanterns to help light the way to the bonfire.

Lantern making starts straight after the Autumn General Meeting at around 4pm with the food and the bonfire starting at 5pm.

The event is free for members but we would appreciate donations of  fireworks – cake or barrage types (not small mixed packs).

To help us plan the event could members please pick up a ticket from the shop or a committee member.

Autumn Community Spruce – Sunday 13th October

The summer is officially over and it’s time to start tidying up and planning for next year.

On Sunday 13 October between 11-3pm there will be a Community Spruce day to help tidy the site and get ready for bonfire night.  You can come for all or part of the session.  There will be a range of jobs to do.   Lunch will be provided along with plenty of tea and cake.

We will also be providing advice on composting and what can be grown in the colder months.

Hope to see you there.  If you can’t help out on the day but are available on other days don’t forget to check out the board next to the Clubhouse for site jobs or speak to a committee member.
