The runners from the local GoodGym came to help us begin the mammoth task of taking down an old unusable chicken run so that we can create a new community event space.
The GoodGym guys ran to the site, then aided by committee members Jaime and Anne, started to remove the chicken run bit by bit – check out their post about it on the GoodGym website.
We look forward to seeing them in June for the next Chicken-run installment.
We have been busy growing vegetable, tomato and other plants for sale at our annual plant sale on Sunday 19th May from 11am to 2pm.
As well as being able to buy plants you can enjoy some fabulous homemade cake and a cup of tea or coffee.
We will be holding our open day on 15th September when there will be a range of activities and stalls.
Thank you to everybody who supported our Aviva Crowdfunder to raise money for the refurbishment of our Clubhouse. We raised a fantastic £3044!
This will be added to the funds we have already raised to complete the refurbishment of the exterior and interior walls, insulating the roof and floor as well as putting in a new kitchen. We are still actively fundraising to transform the Clubhouse (including heating, new furniture and solar panels). You can donate at here at our Justgiving page.
